The perfect rental kart experience. Fantastic customer service from the get go- easy to book (if you know to do so in advance), and everyone on the AMP karting does everything with enthusiasm. The karts are fast, consistently tuned, and reward skillful driving. Big thank you for having great two seaters available, and available to a wide range of ages- this makes it so great for us dads to share our passions with our kids. A particular shoutout to Corey for making our experience with my friend’s son even better by giving us tips on how to extract more out of the two seater kart and making sure that everyone was safe and comfortable seated in their karts. This track is a world class kart track - a destination - one that I will come to the Atlanta area again for!

The food was cooked perfectly, full of flavor and beautifully presented. Eating right next to the go-kart track was such a cool experience, watching the karts fly by while we ate. Our server was really nice, and both the interior and exterior are extremely well maintained, the restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. Bathrooms were spotless, which is always a plus. The shop downstairs is pretty cool too. They don’t sell alcohol yet, but they’re working on it. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back.
Edit: I will say I was pleased with the solution management gave me when they called me a few days later. Refunded my card the cost of the ride as well as left a credit on my account to use at a later time if we chose to go back and he offered to contact him directly if we want to try again and he would personally take care of us during our reservation. Also, he took my feedback very well and understood my concerns about the safety of my son and the fit and seatbelt along with understood where I was coming from on not being fully informed and knowledgeable about the car we were put in not being in the training video prior to getting in it. I am pleased with how this situation was handled and Couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. We will probably try this place again when my son is a little bigger and little older. Took my almost 9 yr old for what I thought would have been a fun experience but was met with young inexperienced employees. When I asked if that’s how my son’s seatbelt is supposed to fit and they told me Yes, it was fitting the way it should at his neck and it was just because of his height was absolutely unacceptable. They allow a rider at 40 inches and he is 48 inches so it should have not even been a concern but it would have choked him at every brake. There was no video that showed a 2 person kart so we could be better informed or knowledgeable at how to sit in the kart correctly. I felt rushed to get going and had to keep asking for assistance instead of an employee making sure a mom and her son were properly in the kart and felt comfortable to take off. Our kart seat did not move like the safety video showed. It was different so I felt confused and the seatbelt fitting around his neck was the last straw at that point. He panicked and screamed to get the seatbelt and helmet off and get out. Then after all that we were offered a credit to come back not a refund. We absolutely will not be back but yet they got my money so I guess that’s all that matters. Don’t take your kids here if your looking for a fun organized and safe experience. I was crying when I left at how they treated us after I described to the front desk staff how they tried to send us out on the track with my sons seatbelt the way it was. Nope- not this mama bear and to think we drove an hour to come check this place out.
I had an amazing time at Atlanta Motorsports Park Karting! It’s truly the best karting experience I’ve ever had. The track itself is incredible, and reaching speeds of 55+ mph on a kart is unreal. It was absolutely worth the drive to come visit. A big thanks to Canaan and the Karting staff for making this such an excellent experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Atlanta Motorsports Park!
