We came on a cold Saturday in January. It's great to find a place that is open year round! I spent $25 for 120 tokens split into 2 cups for my kids, ages 7 and 5. The skee ball only took 1 token so it was a great value, but other claw machine games cost 4 tokens per turn. We went through all of our tokens in 40 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Captain’s Quarters is a fantastic spot for some family-friendly fun. The arcade is top-notch—extremely clean, with a wide variety of games that kept everyone entertained for hours. The go-karts were a highlight; they’re electric, in excellent condition, and the track is beautiful. However, the racing experience was a bit of a letdown because the person controlling the race limited our ability to pass each other, and the speed was kept low for most of the race. That said, the mini-golf course was fantastic—well-maintained and fun for all ages. To top it all off, the ice cream was delicious, making for a perfect treat after a round of mini-golf or an arcade session. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!

I posted a rave review of this place, but it appears the Internet wasn't working well enough for it to go through. The kids and I had a great time here. We came with Grandpa and Grandlilly as a sort of tradition. The kids request this place every visit. We had some issues with the games, which the staff immediately rectified. Jeff was one of the staff members who made our experience the most positive and memorable. He clearly loves his job. He did some magic tricks for the kids and I. He was very entertaining. I asked him a question in a British accent and instead of looking at me like I was a little weirdo, he responded in a British accent of his own. People like Jeff (but also and especially and more specifically Jeff himself) are what makes the difference between a mediocre experience and a fantastic one. Way to go Captain's Quarters. We'll see you next time we're in town.

Go karts aee well maintained and amount of time on the track is reasonable for the price. Arcade area is fun, but leans heavily into the redemption games like coin pushers, cranes, and skill stops. I was able to win more often than not on the cranes which was a nice surprise. I would like to see a few more games even if multicades to add a little more variety. The associated mini-golf course is also very well laid out with a good challenge curve. Another annual staple for our vacations.

Very cool spot, however, my son spent a bunch of tokens trying to get Pokemon cards he saw in a machine. Once he finally got them, he realized they were fake and were fan created cards. Don’t spend your tokens on the fake Pokemon card machine!
