A great team outing experience overall! Staff were very friendly and the karts were quick. I’m always worried they’re slow or made for kids but you can feel the rush here. Team outing package with food and drink was great value, highly recommend for team bonding.

So before posting, I filled out there survey and asked for a response back, to see if they could make some things right but no one got back to me. Went for my kiddos birthday, we spent a hefty amount that day paying for everything. The facility was disgusting. The ac was broken, it was a balmy 88(saw the thermostat) with no ventilation. Bathrooms, water fountains, arcade, were all in neglect. Chemicals just left for kids to grab, soap dispenser empty, toilet seats nasty. When brought up to the staff, they were like okay, we will get someone on it(they never did). We were told a time we would be on the track, 2 hours past the time, we were still waiting. I asked several employees if this was normal for a Saturday, and all three people said yes, they hate working weekends because it's always like this. When we finally did race, the track staff were just off in there own world. I tried to resolve this out of a review but no luck, they've also gotten plenty more 1 stars since I've gone and they're all kinda saying the same.

We were in town did a Santa trip and had a blast leaving Kalahari to race! To get to the first lap seemed to take forever, but we must have arrived for the Junior laps right when the other group was going. After that first lap though, we raced pretty quickly for our other to races. The boys actually said they liked it better than Andretti’s!

We went for my son's birthday and had the best time! The staff was wonderful, races were a blast, the food was delicious especially the pizza and chicken strips and the facilities were nice and clean. We can't wait to go back!

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love K1, but theres just some things that need to be sorted out. I had a league race recently and I used a headcam to record the race but when I redeemed the footage, it was completely wrong. Turns out they gave me a recording from two days prior. I’m currently working with Viewpoint to get my actual footage but this wouldn’t have happened if the employee was more observant when giving me the redeem code. I’m not mad, I understand that people make mistakes and it happens, it was just a little annoying. Other than that, karts at this K1 are usually pretty decent, but almost never consistent. Again, its ok, but still a little annoying. Other than that, K1 is an absolutely great place to go just for fun or to get some starting experience with driving. I wouldn’t really recommend it for long term improvement though. It’s definitely cost effective if you want a competitive environment. The only thing is that race rules are not nearly as strictly enforced as if you were to go to a real track, which leads to unfair advantages and things like that. I’m so thankful that I have the privilege to go to K1 for league racing, I just hope they have some room for improvement.
