I have been to several "pro kart" facilities over the years and was a regular at K1 speed... None of the places I've gone have made me feel as welcome from the moment I walk in the door. This place is family owned and they love this place... Sidenote, the karts are fast, the track is challenging for races chasing the clock and comfortable for those with less skill but wanting to have fun.
We had an amazing time at Pro Karting Experience in St. Petersburg! When I write a review I tryto be helpful here are a couple of things. When you first get into the parking lot you have to go to their office first to do the paperwork and watch a safety video. When we went it's three rides for $50 or $20 for single ride and you have to pay an initial $6 fee for registration and the head cover for the helmet. Then you walk over to the building that houses the go-karts and you're greeted there by a person who will get you a helmet and put you in the waiting area. One thing that really stood out is how they have different karts to match your skill level / Age. Whether you’re a total beginner or in our case a young 10 year old or a more experienced driver looking for speed, they have options to make sure everyone feels comfortable and has fun. The beginner karts are easy to handle and perfect for getting used to the track, while the faster performance karts give you that extra thrill if you’re up for it. The staff did a good job picking out the right kart for each person in our group. The track itself is exciting with a great mix of turns and straight sections, and all the equipment was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a fun, safe, and memorable karting experience in St. Pete—whether it’s your first time or you’re ready to put your skills to the test!
