We went there for my son's birthday. Only a few of us. One guy that worked there yelled at a 13-year-old because he pulled into parking lane the he didn't want. Told me after that it was common sense. Embarrassed him in front of a group of young men. I told him we were never told where to pull in and who is that common sense to?? It was fun but Cost me about $175 for three people for two races. I should have asked for my money back after being treated that way. Because of this one guy it kind of ruined our experience on my son's birthday. Hopefully by him not having common sense on how to treat people especially young teenagers doesn't reflect on the rest of the people that work there.
We had a fun time racing here, but the website is misleading. It says in multiple places to call ahead and contact them to check for availability. I called 4-5 times across multiple days during their business hours and didn’t get through to a single person. The automated system directed me to texting the number which I thought was great since they can just tell me if they have availability or not with a single text, no big deal. I texted the number a few times in addition to the calls, and no reply from anyone again. When we got there, I realized you sort of just wait for your turn and race after others are done. Which is more than fine! But their website definitely needs to be updated because trying to find out about availability for a whole week to zero response got a bit frustrating and I was relieved when we got there and the whole availability during open race hours isn’t really an issue at all. Overall, we had a good time, but I’m giving this place three stars because they need to update their website if staff aren’t able to respond to customers (understandable) and just say that it’s first come first serve. Also, only giving three stars because the whole building had a horrible odor like BO and tomato soup 🥫
I got my ribs cracked after another cart slammed into me!!!! People who were watching said the staff allowed one racer to slam into people without kicking him out. I have to go to the emergency room and talk to my attorney Monday morning. I’ve read the 1 star reviews and it looks like this is a regular occurrence at that location. I’m gonna email those people that have the same complaint as me and see what we can do legally. My family definitely isn’t going back here. Safety first!!!
ProKART is a fun night out! We were a party of mixed ages and driving abilities and had a BLAST! Bring a coat. The track speeds make it a chilly adventure. An enclosed observation area has plenty of seating for non racers! Clean bathrooms as well.
